We have been very lucky with a sunny and warm weekend in Sydney – apparently they call this Autumn! But I won’t go on too much about that since we have a few British readers… I’ve been really enjoying a morning swim at the weekends recently at the local outdoor pool (how very Australian!) and this means I can treat myself to a good Sunday lunch too! We decided to stop in at a local restaurant in Darling Harbour, I’m Angus Steakhouse.
I love a good burger, and do enjoy discovering a new gem in the city. The chicken burger I had here is certainly one of my favourites so far! The large chicken breast was coated in a herb crust and served with avocado, tomato, salad and aioli. Outstanding!!
I thought I was being “good” by choosing the side salad, but I don’t think I would have had any room for chips with this! I will share Dan’s dish, but he did go for an old faithful… I really must start encouraging him to be more adventurous! I guess we did go to a steak restaurant.
This is a great spot on a sunny day to have lunch and look over the water. And to enjoy a damn fine burger!
