We were lucky enough to be invited along to the Jacob’s Creek Australia’s Longest Reserve Table last weekend.
The event, which was filmed as part of Reserved For Friends With Pete Evans, allowed fellow food lovers to bring along and share a home cooked dish that represented their culture. The opportunity to try an array of home cooked dishes, learn about the stories behind each of them – all washed down with Jacob’s Creek wines was certainly one that was too good to miss!
We arrived at the Welcome Wall – just outside the National Maritime Museum on Darling Harbour – around 12.30pm and waited for our assigned seat. As the wine flowed up and down the tables, a selection of dishes arrived for us to try.
There was a great variety of food on offer and I couldn’t resist trying as much as I could. My friend Karen and I were able to meet the host and star of the show, Pete Evans. He was super friendly and here is our token cheesy shot – had to be done!
